West Seattle Meditation Group Opening

The seventh Seattle Shambhala neighborhood satellite meditation group, in West Seattle, is opening with a regular session on Tuesday, September 2. The Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23.

The West Seattle Shambhala Meditation group offers weekly meditation sessions on Tuesday evenings at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in West Seattle, across the street from the Delridge Community Center and Skatepark, with instruction in basic meditation available. Everyone is welcome. This is perfect for both beginners and established meditators. For more details and information, see also: West Seattle Shambhala Meditation.

On-going Series (every Tuesday evening)

6:20-6:30 PM: Meditation Instruction
6:30-7:30 PM: Meditation
7:30-8:00 PM: Guest Speaker and/or guided discussion
8:00-8:30 PM: Social time and refreshments

Sitting meditation begins at 6:30 PM. Please arrive by 6:20 PM if you are interested in receiving meditation instruction.

After sitting, at 7:30 PM, we will have a guest speaker who will discuss a meditation topic and/or lead a group discussion, followed by refreshments.

Prerequisites: None, open to everyone, and no previous experience with meditation is necessary.
