Bodhi Group is a time for children between 8 and 12 to explore Shambhala culture, studies, and community. Held on Sundays through May 2019 at the Seattle Shambhala Center or at an off-site location. Children are encouraged in developing a regular home meditation practice with their parent's support. Outings, one overnight, a community care project will occur along the way.

Baby & Toddler Room: Parents are welcome to bring their children of all ages to Sunday practice in the shrine room. A baby and toddler room is open for parents to use as needed during meditation. It is located upstairs and right down the hall from the main shrine room, at the end of the hallway on the right. To sign up for the weekly Parent Update or to engage with the newly forming parent cooperative, or both, email [email protected] and include your child's name and age, and your phone number -Thank you!

Price: The price for the Bodhi Group winter session is $5.00 per session or $90.00 for the full session. Payment may be made in person on Sundays, by registering at the registration link below, or via check (make your check out to the Seattle Shambhala Center and include "Bodhi School" on the Notes line). Paying in advance helps us fund supplies ahead of time.  We may ask you for additional fees for outings. Children are welcome to participate in the Bodhi Group regardless of payment: consider volunteering with child care in lieu of payment. Your generosity is appreciated and helps us fund Family Camp and other adventures!

REGISTRATION: Please register your child for Bodhi School and in the note section include the name of your child or children. If joining after the session has begun, please contact [email protected] before registering, thank you.

Shambhala Generosity Policy: We have a generosity policy to make our offerings available to all who wish to participate. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please consider what works for you, and offer as much of the program fee as you can. For those who can offer more than the program price your generosity helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price.

Location: Seattle Shambhala Center, 3107 E Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98112.
