Years Meditation: 5 years

How has meditation been of benefit to you? Meditation has allowed me to deal with and control habitual patterns. In conjunction with gender switching, it has allowed me to interact with few Asperger tics. I have eliminated anger management problems. I socially interact without fear now. I have a low pulse and blood pressure. It has given me the means to not be a victim, despite being treated as a third-class citizen.

How has Seattle Shambhala been of benefit to you? Seattle Shambhala provides me with a place for group meditation. It has classes that advance my wisdom and understanding.

What’s your favorite activity, open house night, holiday or other center program? and why? Classed like “Windhorse” are among my favorite activities. I really like to have group meditation.

What was your first experience at Shambhala like? I returned a book given to me years ago. I decided to stay, feeling that the Sakyong was much better put together than Trungpa.
