Shambhala Open Studio: Community Creativity Night
Join us for an evening of open creative studio time at the Seattle Shambhala Center at 7 pm on December 6.
Shambhala Open Studio: Community Creativity Night is an invitation to bring your creative projects—whether they’re works in progress or brand-new ideas—and connect or collaborate with others in a welcoming, mindful environment. This workshop offers space to explore drawing, painting, collage, poetry, writing, sound projects (with headphones), or any other form of creativity that brings you joy and expression.
An Inclusive, Open Space for All
This free community workshop is designed for everyone, whether you're continuing a work in progress or starting something new. Shambhala Open Studio fosters a non-judgmental, community-focused environment where participants of all experience levels are invited to express themselves freely. We welcome all types of creative expression, with basic materials for drawing and painting provided, so you’re free to experiment.
With two dedicated rooms for dry and wet art (please, no solvent-based materials), you’ll have the flexibility to dive into a variety of media. We’ll provide tables, floor space chairs, several easels (feel free to bring your own), and a kitchen for easy cleanup.
Together, we’ll explore how creative expression in community can relieve stress, foster happiness, and build confidence. No prior creative experience is necessary.
