Maitri Bhavana [Shambhala Online]
Join Shambhala Online and our worldwide Shambhala community for “Maitri Bhavana Second Sunday." This monthly gathering includes a brief talk, a discussion period, and Maitri Bhavana practice.
Maitri Bhavana is a group loving kindness practice in which we acknowledge our interconnectedness by bringing to mind people and/or circumstances to whom we wish to bring benefit with our practice. It is a practice of unlimited friendliness for those who may be experiencing physical or mental suffering, for example cancer or grief, as well as those who care about them.
If you would like to add the name of someone who is seriously ill to the maitri bhavana list so people can do practice for their wellbeing, please click here → https://shambhala.org/maitri-bhavana/. You can also add the name of a current world event where there is turmoil, strife, and disaster and we will practice for those affected.
“Maitri Bhavana Second Sunday” is part of weekly Sunday Gatherings produced by Shambhala Global Services and hosted by Shambhala Online. Sunday Gatherings are presented in English and are live every week at:
North America: 12:00pm PST, 1:00pm MST, 2:00pm CET, 3:00pm EST/CLT, 4:00pm Atlantic
