September 22nd

Celebrate the changing seasons in community at this year's Harvest of Peace

Everyone in the community is warmly invited to our annual Harvest of Peace celebration, one of the official holidays on the Shambhala calendar. This year we will celebrate together on Sunday, September 22nd after our regular Sunday Open House.

The turning of the season is a time to come together, connect with one another, and gather our energies. Our Seattle Center continues to thrive and our sangha has much to celebrate. This annual fall gathering brings us together to enjoy one another’s company, share the gifts of the season, be in community, and deeply feel the strong foundation we share in our commitment to basic goodness. These celebrations strengthen our commitment to expressing that basic goodness through our own courage and vulnerability — in our homes, in our centers, and in the wider world.

During our community gathering we will share gratitude for the generosity of our members, welcome new members to our community, provide a report on the success of our fundraising campaign, renew our commitment to strengthening our membership, and have an opportunity to give thanks for all that is good.  Childcare will be provided.
