Community Clean-up Day

March 23rd

Date details +

Spring will be here before we know it! Let’s get a head start by cleaning and uplifting the center. Community work projects are an opportunity to get to know each other, uplift  and enrich our shared space, and transform cleaning into a celebration!

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM      Spreading compost in the garden
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM        Help clean and organize the center

On Saturday, March 23rd we're looking for volunteers with cars or trucks able to pick up compost from the City of Seattle Free Compost Day at Bethany United Church of Christ in Beacon Hill. Each household with a car is able to pick up 1/2 cubic yard of compost for free, first come first serve. With your help, we can provide good nutrients to our gardens that will get us ready for spring!

Information about compost pickup is below --

Stop by a Compost Giveaway Event to get up to ½ cubic yard (per household) of free bulk compost for your garden on a first come, first serve basis. Remember to bring your own shovel and container to load and haul the compost.
