Harvest of Peace Celebration

October 14th

Celebrate the changing seasons in community at this year's Harvest of Peace

Everyone in the community is warmly invited to our annual Harvest of Peace celebration, one of the official holidays on the Shambhala calendar. This year we will celebrate together on Sunday, October 14th in place of our regular Sunday Open House.

The turning of the season is a time to come together, connect with one another, and gather our energies. In Shambhala and in society, this is a time of uncertainty, sadness, and possibility.  This annual fall gathering brings us together to enjoy one another’s company, share the gifts of the season, be in community, and deeply feel the strong foundation we share in our commitment to basic goodness. These celebrations strengthen our commitment to expressing that basic goodness through our own courage and vulnerability — in our homes, in our centers, and in the wider world.

During our community gathering we will share gratitude for the generosity of our members, welcome new members to our community, provide a report on the success our fundraising campaign, and have an opportunity to support our local center financially.
