Community Group Practice
Group practices are a powerful way to raise windhorse as a community, as Shambhala is rooted in the path and principle of group awakening. All Seattle Shambhala Center members are invited to come together regardless of your practice level on this day – engaging in whatever your main practice for the moment may be. This could include mindfulness-awareness practice, Shambhala Meditation, Shambhala sadhana, ngondro, werma, mahamudra or other forms. There will be an umdze leading the morning chants for the whole group, and keeping time for the mindfulness-awareness practitioners, while other practices will be done silently in the same space. People will be seated in parts of the room according to their particular practices. Feel free to join for any portion of the practice period. Stay tuned for more of these community group practice events in the months to come.
Please RSVP to [email protected] if you plan to attend any portion of the practice period and specify the style of practice you will be doing.
