The Strategist and the Sage: the Tao of Leadership
with Eva Wong
The key to virtuous leadership is the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations with clarity. Through Sunzi’s classic treatise on strategy, 19th-generation Taoist lineage holder Eva Wong will explore how environments affect the approach of a leader and how a leader’s approach in turn affects the creation of environments.
In addition to lecture, group discussion, and an overview of the text, participants will get an introduction to warrior qigong and situational awareness practices that sensitize our relationship to family, work, and social space. Experiencing strategic thinking and action in mind and body allows our awareness to increases, which in turn reveals fitting action. And fitting action is what gives us the ability to be effective and virtuous in accomplishing our goals.
Dr. Eva Wong is a 19th generation lineage carrier of the Primordial Limitless Gate School of Daoism.
