A Weekthun on Your Path?

Is a week long retreat, a “weekthun,” part of your meditation path in the months ahead? Or do you simply long for a period of quiet contemplation and study? Such opportunities don’t arise often. But there still is time to register for the Summer Weekthun at the Seattle Shambhala Center, August 15-22. Click here for details: http://seattle.shambhala.org/program-details/?id=177460 .

This one-week program lead by Shastris* Betsy Pond and Ben Hines is suitable for the beginner in meditation who would like a taste of retreat practice.
Periods of meditation—alternating with study and contemplation, group discussions, contemplative walks and exercises, individual interviews with the directors—make up the rhythm of the days for a week of intensive practice and living.
