Shambhala Sadhana – An Invitation to all Seattle Shambhala Center Members and Their Families
Come join us for our monthly Shambhala Sadhana Practice & Potluck!
The Shambhala Sadhana is a practice in connecting to the basic goodness of ourselves, other sentient beings, and of society. Composed by the Kongma Sakyong, this Sadhana celebrates and strengthens our understanding of Basic Goodness and Enlightened Society. The event will include a potluck, community celebration and group discussion.
These community gatherings are specifically meant for all Shambhala members and their families, regardless of level of practice. This is an opportunity for us to meet, practice as a group, and have conversation and a meal together.
On some weekend events, childcare may be available.
If you are interested in childcare, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at least a day before the Sadhana. Older children and teens are invited to participate in the Shambhala Sadhana.
A potluck and conversation follow or precede the Sadhana practice (depending on whether the event occurs on a weekend or weeknight). Details on schedule will be sent via email to the community members leading up to the event.
Prerequisites: None. These gatherings are open to all Shambhala members and their families.
Location: Seattle Shambhala Center, 3107 E Harrison St, Seattle
