Issaquah Shambhala Meditation

Shambhala Center offers meditation sessions on Wednesday evenings in Issaquah. Everyone is welcome. Perfect for both beginners and established meditators.

On-going series (every Wednesday):

  • 6:45 pm:  Meditation instruction for those new to meditation
  • 7:00 – 7:45 pm:  Meditation
  • 7:45 – 8:45 pm:  Talk and dharma discussion

Sitting begins at 7:00 pm. Free meditation instruction is also offered for new visitors at 6:45  so you can receive instruction and ask questions before joining the main group at 7:00. Also, if you have received instruction but have questions about the technique, this is an opportunity to speak with a trained meditation instructor. After sitting, there is time for tea. At 7:45, there is an interactive talk and discussion that allows participants to learn, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of meditation.

Note that occasionally there may be a change in the schedule — so it’s always good to check the calendar before you come, to be sure we are meeting on any given Wednesday. Issaquah Shambhala also offers specific introductory classes from time to time, which will appear in the calendar, or in the general listing of introductory classes.
