How has meditation been of benefit to you? Meditation has helped my to work with my mind in various states of emotion, as well as providing clarity to my outlook on the world.

How has Seattle Shambhala been of benefit to you? Seattle Shambhala Center has been a great source of support and camaraderie with fellow meditators. Over time it has also allowed me to expand into teaching, which is very gratifying.

What’s your favorite activity, open house night, holiday or other center program? and why? Recently I have been enjoying the Sunday morning program, including some great discussions at the 11:45 time slot. I also appreciate the In Everyday Life classes. Finally, it has been a gateway to other deepening programs, both here and at other Shambhala Centers.

What was your first experience at Shambhala like? I first went to Shambhala in Boston where we listened to cassette recordings of Trungpa, Rinpoche. They seemed a little hard to follow, but they have been a great motivator throughout my path of meditation.
